Coaching WAVL (Juniors)
Coaching WAVJL is a great entry point for anyone beginning or progressing their coaching pathway or wanting to work with younger athletes.
Our junior teams compete in the WA Volleyball Junior League (WAVJL):

Games are played on Friday nights during Terms 2 & 3

Matches take place at various Perth venues

Teams are grouped by school year:Year 7/8, Year 9/10, and Year 11/12

Ideal for players building skills, game awareness, and a pathway into senior competition
Coaching Requirements
All coaches are required to:

Hold a Working With Children Check (WWCC)

Commit to training sessions and game days for the season

Do their best to arrange a fill-in coach if unavailable

Support athlete development using positive leadership, skill progression and team culture

Support: If you can’t attend a session or game day, coaches are expected to help source a suitable fill-in. A player within the same team is not an appropriate fill in.
Coaching Expression of Interest (EOI)
EOIs open during the off-season. We aim to finalise our coaches for the following season during off-season (October-December).
